
Making Your Ceiling Heaters Actually Smart
Most heaters work by warming up the air, which takes forever. Ceiling-mounted infrared heaters are different. They don’t bother with the air; they just beam heat directly onto you and the furniture. It feels more like standing in the sun on a crisp autumn day. When you hook these up to a smart home system, you’re basically getting rid of that annoying wait time. These just watch for movement. That way, the heaters only kick in when someone is actually standing under them. It saves a ton of electricity because you aren’t heating an empty room.
